My love of jewelry started as a young girl. My grandmother had a grand jewelry-box filled with all sorts of trinkets
my grandfather had brought back from Japan and over seas. Every now and then she would let me try on her "jewels".
When I put them on I couldn't help but feel like a princess. To this day I still feel special when I put on a new
trinket. I will always credit her with my foundation in the jewelry business. I started my training
in the repair field in 1998 and from 1999 to 2005 worked in the retail world as a repair jeweler doing design on the side.
In 2005 after my son was born I knew it was now or never and so I started Jewelry Works. I can't believe that was
3 years ago now. I have really felt fortunate to be able to do what I love and spend quality time with my son.

As with most small businesses we started
with an idea and after a lot of time and hard work the idea evolved into a business. A number of years ago
a friend expressed her frustration in trying to find a strand of pearls to match the bridesmaids dresses in her wedding. With
so many options out there she still couldn't find the right one and no one was able to help her. Our Goal is help
you make just the right item and be priced fairly.
